Pure State is a progressive/deep/melodic house music project formed by Australian songwriter and producer Paul Janossich. Combining warm uplifting chord progressions and catchy hook lines with edgy rhythms is a consistent theme of Pure State's music.
Influences include Kygo, EDX, Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Alesso, Calvin Harris, Clean Bandit, Galantis, and Zedd amongst many others.
Pure State has released 4 full length albums and a number of singles since he started the project in 1997 and has been signed to record labels Jendex Records, Vicious Vinyl and Odessa Mama.
A remix of the Rocky them "Gonna Fly Now" was used in the massively popular Australian renovation TV show "The Block".
